The IoT (Internet of Things) integration collects relevant user data in the smartIQ Cloud and analyzes it. This allows us to draw conclusions about the current state and usage of the battery. Subsequently we are able to assemble the ideal battery system, depending on the customer’s demand and technical requirements. Then again, this enables us to better address the customer’s needs and, if necessary, inform them of potential up- or downgrades. This leads to maximum efficiency, as we can create the optimal ratio between energy capacity and weight distribution. Moreover, the IoT integration provides frequent software innovations and updates to the battery via the smartIQ Cloud.
Modular – scalable – compatible. These three key-features allow our battery systems to be applicable to a wide spectrum of applications including vehicles, machines and other specialized equipment. New or existing products of various types and manufacturers can be equipped or retro-fitted with our innovation.

Minimizing environmental impact starts at the production of our creations. Every smartIQ battery system is produced in our local smartFactory. This keeps the ecological footprint small and consists with our vision of a sustainable future. Smart robotic procedures eliminate obsolete processes and establish economic efficiency.
Sustainable solutions for our customers and our planet. We have developed a program in which we swap all preloved smartIQ battery system with a new one after a fraction of its lifespan. Our batteries are proven to have an average service life of 10+ years. However, to offer outstanding convenience and infinite capacity, every system that has been sold can be exchanged by a new one after a few years.
Our social responsibility does not end after our products have been sold. Truth being told, it never does. Consequently, we have designed a circular battery life cycle that ensures that every component will be repaired, reused, repurposed or sustainably recycled. As a result of the modular technology of our battery systems, they are easily repairable. Therefore, only a minimum of resources requires recycling in the first place. After their time as “1st life power application”, our batteries are purposefully reused in a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th life. They are, for example, refurbished into 2nd life batteries or into an energy storage such as wallboxes or solar cells. The few parts that require recycling, then serve as a base for the extraction of raw materials.
